During this course, the technologies of capacitive multi-touch sensing, NFC and heat-based actuators were introduced. Based on this I have realized several lo-fi prototypes based on everyday scenarios. This has taught me to quickly master new technologies and to come up with new concepts through my creativity. The course concluded with a concept that used NFC technology to operate a real-life status indicator in an intuitive way. With this, office employees can work undisturbed, or for example indicate that they are available for questions or small talk.
